We are currently looking at how we can do GFI differently together somehow whilst remaining separate!! Meanwhile the wonderful people who have made Friends and Heroes have made all their episodes available to churches that have licences free to stream to members of their church groups. There are some restrictions that we are working out how we keep in place but we will be using series 3 (which we haven't seen) during lockdown. In order to access this material for free you will need to go to our sister site nantcochchurch.com/GFI and enter a password. Tomi should be sending these out over the coming days if you do not hear from us please drop us a text. |

GFI Club at Nant Coch ChurchGo-for-it Club is for 7-11 year olds and meets every Friday during term time from 5.45 - 7.00pm. Each week we have around 20 children from the local neighbourhood meeting to have fun and make friends. What the children say about GFI:
"It¹s fun and you can do what ever you like such as cooking, craft, board games and cool stuff like that" "There is lots of fun to do and no one is nasty" "It¹s a good place to make friends" "We make things and we learn about God and Jesus" "It¹s a time to chill out and have fun and listen to Bible stories" "The leaders are fun and they make fun games and we have parties" Aims of GFI Club
GFI Club is part of a programme of events put on for our local community. It provides somewhere for children to have fun, meet others and learn new skills in a safe environment
As a church we also aim to make God and Jesus real to the children by explaining the truths of the Bible in ways that are relevant to their understanding and needs. As part of this, we aim to make them feel valued and secure and introduce the idea of serving others by telling the children of others' needs and encouraging their support and interest. Our mission is to reach out to all in our local community, so we value links with the parents and families of children attending GFI. Parents and families are welcome to attend any of our other events or services (including Grapevine for older children), and occasionally we put on special events specifically for them. UV LIGHT PARTY![]() Usually on the Friday before half -term we do not run our clubs but this year as a special treat we will be holding a UV light party lots of fun, special activities on top of all the usual things.
