Our Outlook
The life of the Church is centred upon worship, teaching, fellowship, prayer and caring.
Communion We have no pastor or minister but we believe that the Holy Spirit himself leads us as we come to worship God. Our Communion Service takes the form of open worship when anyone who knows and loves the Lord Jesus is free to contribute and remember Jesus in sharing bread and wine. Baptism Having come to faith in Jesus, many wish to follow the teaching in the Bible and tell others about what has happened to them by being baptised by immersion. Anyone who is interested is encouraged to talk to one of the Elders. Leadership The leadership and responsibility of the Church is through lay Elders, supported by coordinators on the leadership team. Our Mission Statement By proclamation and demonstration of the truth of Christ’s message, to increase the membership of the Church local and worldwide and to encourage every member to grow in Christian character and in the knowledge of God. |
Our History
Nant Coch Church was formed in 1942 and met originally at Nant Coch House on nearby Risca Road (hence the name). We moved to our current building, a converted and extended house, on Fields Park Road in 1954.
