In the first part of our Bible story this week, an angel tells Cornelius, a Roman Officer that God has heard his prayers and has seen how kind he is to the poor.
God tells him to send one of his soldiers to bring Peter the disciple to his house. Peter will tell Cornelius all about Jesus, God’s son.
(Act out this part of the story with the Lego figures. If you have more Lego you can add more people and maybe build Cornelius’s house.)
Activity 2
Colour the picture of Peter telling Cornelius and his family the Good News about Jesus – that He loves all people and that everyone who believes in Him will be forgiven their sins. (You can download the picture by clicking on it below.)
Activity 3
Below, you will find a Word Search, the words of which remind us that Jesus loves us all.
Activity 4
‘God accepts anyone who comes to him and does what is right’
Acts 10:35 (Can you learn this verse and say it to your mum or dad?)
Make a collage by sticking on the poster pictures of lots of different people. Many of them from different countries in the world. Draw a picture of yourself too!
